AVCU commissioned the artist to create these ash wood baskets and lids in 3″, 4″, and 7″ diameters. Actual colors may vary from those pictured. Each basket requires more than 20 hours to create.
These authentic American Indian products are made by the artist in accordance with the Indian Arts and Craft Act of 1990. Kerry R. Wood is a citizen of the St. Francis/Sokoki Band of the Abenaki Nation of Missisqoui which is recognized by the State of Vermont as a Native American Tribe. (Refer to Sec 1.1 V.S.A 856.) Verification can be made by contacting the Tribal Headquarters.
