Northern Lights FCU Announces CEO Transition

Northern Lights Federal Credit Union would like to take this opportunity to thank long-term CEO Rita Revilla for her twenty-eight years of service to NLFCU, its membership, and the credit union movement, and to welcome its new CEO, Kathryn Ducharme.

When Rita started her career as CEO, Fairbanks Federal Credit Union was an in-plant credit union with $6.9 million dollars in assets. Today, NLFCU has four branches serving communities in Vermont and New Hampshire and has approximately $43 million dollars in assets.

Rita has led NLFCU through acquisitions, branch construction, and three core conversions; today, NLFCU offers its membership the best in technology with the finest fintech offerings in conjunction with the CU Answers core operating system.

Rita hands off a strong credit union with a resolute team well positioned for the future. We wish her well in her transition to retirement.

Kathryn Ducharme comes to the CEO position having served on the NLFCU Board in the past, having worked for a CPA firm auditing Banks and Credit Unions. Kathryn has spent more than a decade on the governmental accounting side, having most recently been the business manager of the Haverhill School District.

She brings extensive knowledge in accounting, budgeting, compliance, investment and management, as well as supervision.

The NLFCU Board and Team are excited to welcome Kathryn to the CEO position and look forward to working together to serve the membership and communities.
