Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC)
The GAC is the credit union industry’s largest advocacy event and returns to Washington, D.C., March 2-6, 2025. It brings thousands of leaders from across the country to rally around a united cause, showing legislators how their policies impact credit unions and their more than 140 million members.
This year’s theme is “Together we move: Moving with purpose. Moving with passion. Moving with strength.” It emphasizes our forward momentum as an industry and the power of our cooperative movement.

- The GAC begins on Sunday, 3/2, and ends on Wednesday, 3/5.
- On Sunday morning, AVCU's former and longtime board chair and director, Sean Gammon, will be inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders.
- On Tuesday evening, AVCU and Tricorp FCU will co-host a reception and dinner for all Vermont, New Hampshire, and related attendees.
- On Wednesday, AVCU’s Hill Luncheon with the congressional delegation will take place.

Saturday, December 21, 2024: Reservations canceled after this date will be subject to a one-night’s room and tax cancellation fee per room.
