The Association of Vermont Credit Unions is excited to announce the premiere of en•light•en. A gathering of thought leaders, industry experts, and credit union professionals this coming spring, May 30th through June 1st, 2025, at The Lodge at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont. This new event isn't the usual AVCU convention!

We chose en•light•en as the name for our new event. We want to heighten awareness, understanding, and insights to help attendees reach new heights in their respective credit union roles, whether as volunteers or paid professionals. We can all benefit by seeing things more clearly, especially the future of credit unions and how they help consumers attain financial well-being.

The 3-day event, being promoted throughout the northeast, takes place in the picturesque mountains of Vermont at the Spruce Peak Lodge in Stowe. Enlighten will feature high-powered national and regional experts sharing their insights on the economy, the evolution of payments, the latest in fintech developments, state and federal advocacy issues affecting credit union futures, and much, much more. Unique to en•light•en will be a hands-on experience of what it's like to walk in the shoes of financially challenged individuals in our communities.

Highlighting our en•light•en theme, there will be an evening of musical performance by candlelight that you won't soon forget. Pop hits performed by a professional string quartet. Candlelight concerts by Fever have grown hugely popular across the country. Outdoor enthusiasts, be sure to join us on the critically acclaimed Mountain Course at Spruce Peak . . . 18 holes across 1,000 feet of elevation, culminating at 1,800 feet with sweeping views of the Green Mountains.
